		Object of the association Mediation association of German Patent and Trademark Attorneys

		The object of the association is to support mediation in the field of intellectual property and to inform all legal practioners about the possibilities of mediation, mediators and the qualified procedure. The association supports the goal oriented, cost-sensitive and time-sensitive handling of conflicts through mediation. In addition the association provides information about mediation and supports parties in mediation procedures. The mediators and other members belong to the association German bar of Patent Attorneys. Only members are registered in the list of mediators on the condition that they took part in training programmes having at least 120 hours in the topic of mediation, part of the training programme shall be practical work. Further, the mediators are bound to regularly take part in education and training seminars/events. All mediators have gone through thorough qualification process and are obliged to take part in further training measures annually.
